What do I get for free?
The whole loop, on your device, forever. Import books, PDFs, photos and text, read them and websites with tap-to-gloss, save words, and review them. Reviews are never metered. You also get a 500-word bank with a visible counter and free export, your first kanji with the full meet, drill and draw loop, a taste of AI sentence translation, and backup and sync of your learning state with a free account.
What's in Premium?
Everything, unlimited: the full kanji course (all 2,136 jōyō) with your own mnemonic stories, an unlimited word bank, unlimited AI sentence translation, podcast and audio transcription, server OCR for hard scans and vertical manga, and your whole library synced across devices.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Everything on your device works without one. You'll need a free account to back up and sync your progress, and for anything that runs on our servers, like adding a podcast.
What happens if I stop paying?
You keep everything and can review everything, forever. You just can't add new words or kanji past the free limits until you resubscribe.
Are podcasts free?
Adding a podcast and listening to every episode is free. Transcribing an episode, so you can read along as it plays, is Premium and comes with a monthly allowance of minutes.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days free on the annual plan ($99/year). You'll have tried the full loop before you're charged.
Is there a lifetime plan?
No. Transcription, AI translation and library sync cost us money every month, so a one-time price can't fund them honestly. It's a subscription or it's free; both are real options.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your library and your reviews stay yours.
